Justice League #12

I have to say that of all of Comicdoms previous relationship retcons (See Amazing Spider-Man: One More Day), this one has to be the best. In all reality, it is not a retcon because DC has rebooted and that means that Superman was never married to Lois Lane. That doesn’t mean that they won’t get married in the future, although I would hope that DC has the foresight to realize that a reboot should incorporate some actual status-quo changes throughout the line.
I feel that this relationship is a good thing for comics. There needs to come a time when the old ways are done away with and the new should get a chance to shine. Comics could use a real power couple. Also, I don’t think I’m the only fan who believes this way, just check out ebay.com.
There has always been an argument about whether Lois would be able to carry a half-Kryptonian child to term. The world may never know.
